Warren Kirshenbaum is President of the Cherrytree Group, LLC, and is an experienced transactional real estate and business attorney. Warren specializes in tax credit syndication, arbitrage, and private equity, as well as creating distressed asset investing platforms, structuring private equity funds, loan workouts, short sale and foreclosure purchases, Brownfields, and renewable energy tax credit transactions. For the provision of legal services, Cherrytree is supported by the Transactional Law Group ("TLG"), formerly Kirshenbaum Law Offices. This relationship allows us to expand our resources and knowledge base by leveraging TLG’s resources as a back-office servicer of ours and our client’s legal needs. Warren Kirshenbaum has experience in business and real estate, both from the private practice of law, as well as in-house legal and business positions. He has worked on corporate and securities transactions, tax credit transactions including the Massachusetts Brownsfields Tax Credit, Renewable Energy Credits (REC), such as the Solar Renewable Credit (SREC),as well as transactions involving hydro-electric power plant purchases, the historical redevelopment tax credit, and Investment Tax Credits (ITC) and Renewable Energy Credits (REC), such as the Solar Renewable Credit (SREC).
