(NECN: Greg Wayland) - The Gulf oil crisis is in day 46. By now, you have probably seen some of the boycotts of BP gas stations, but dozens of BP station owners are now staging their own protests, saying business was hurting even before the Gulf oil leak.
Over 200 of these stations have been flying the BP banner for just over a year.
They are being tainted by an oil leak that they didn't cause.
"If I wasn't this low on gas, I wouldn't be buying my gas from BP," says customer Bea Fullerton in Hingham, Massachusetts.
